Stepping down

Indicating the corner steps.

Most mornings Nick left quite early to go mining and would return to the shack around 8am or so. (Some afternoons he would go back for more digging). 

After a lovely hamburger lunch at the Yowah Nut cafe, we headed over to the fossicking area to check Nick's digging progress.

He had enlarged the mine considerably and cut some rough steps into the corner to allow easier access. We were impressed by his efforts!
