One of the benefits of Nick's shift-work is every so often he has a longer run of consecutive "rostered off" days. It's not always possible to take advantage of these blocks but on this occasion we did - and made a lightning trip to "the Ridge"!
Er, that would be lightning in the sense of a quick week's stay, rather than driving like the clappers to get there!
As you can see, it was a full day's drive though - and then we needed to set up camp after arrival.
