Sunday drive ...

Nick was up quite early to go digging. The rest of us stayed in bed!

It wasn't till after mid-morning that we decided to head out along Blackgate Road.  I packed a picnic and we set off.

The road had changed a little since our last visit.  The first few kilometres have been graded and gravelled - and now wind through the Yowah Golf course, so that we no longer enter via a "black" gate.  It was all seeming a bit too civilised but we soon encountered a wash out, some (dry) creek crossings and the track as we were used to seeing it - as well as emu, wild goats and kangaroos.  Doesn't take much to make us happy!
